	The National Carousel Association... visited Cafesjian's Carousel during its 2006 convention September 20-23, 2006. The organization is dedicated to the conservation and appreciation of carousels and especially to the preservation of antique wooden carousels. Peter Boehm spoke to convention-goers at a reception Wednesday, Sept. 20, telling a bit of the saga of our carousel since leaving the Minnesota State Fair. He also spoke about the man who carved the horses on this carousel, whose work had previously been attributed to someone else. The group visited Como Park on the morning of Saturday, Sept. 23.
